La Serenissima (Artist), Adrian Chandler (Artist, Conductor), Antonio Vivaldi (Composer). La Serenissima was formed in 1994 for a performance of Vivaldi’s La Sena festeggiante and has since won over fans for channelling the beating heart of 18th century Venice through its music. The group’s vision to enrich life by sharing its passion for Italian baroque music has taken it all over the world to leading venues and festivals. Profile: La Serenissima is a British ensemble, which is specialized in Italian baroque music. Founded in 1994.

Taking its name from La Serenissima Repubblica di Venezia (Italian for The Most Serene Republic of Venice), the ensemble specializes in the music of Venetian Baroque composer Antonio Vivaldi (1678–1741) and his contemporaries. Vivaldi: The Four Seasons by La Serenissima (2015-05-04).
