Actually you can record DFX ontoCD's for playing on audio equipment. I neglected to scan the DFX site for the info. Here it is (little complex, but once you do it a few times, it's a snap and the sound is sooo great!!:
Step-by-step instructions:
1. Launch Winamp and prepare a playlist of songs you want to burn with DFX enhancement.
2. Set DFX to your desired sound enhancement levels for playback.
3. On the Winamp menu, select Options -> Preferences
1. Under Plug-Ins -> Output, select 'Nullsoft Disk Writer plug-in...'
2. Click the Configure button and select the output directory to where the WAV files will be saved. Click OK to save your settings.
3. Click the Close button to finish configuring and exit the Winamp preferences window.
4. Winamp is now set up so that when you start playing your playlist, the output will go directly to WAV files rather than being played. During this process, there will be no sound output and the the track slider will move faster than normal. When output of your playlist is complete, you will have DFX-enhanced WAV files located in the output directory. WAV files are uncompressed so make sure there is enough space on your hard disk.
Click the Play button on Winamp to start outputting the MP3 playlist to DFX-enhanced WAV files.
5. Use your CD burning program and CD burner to make an audio CD from your enhanced WAV files. The resulting audio CD will be playable on your home stereo.
6. Once finished be sure to restore Winamp's normal playback mode:
1. On the Winamp menu, select Options -> Preferences
2. Under Plug-Ins -> Output, select 'DirectSound output...'
3. Click OK to save your settings.
4. Click the Close button to save and exit the Winamp preferences window.

- Now before this program I was a user of the $10 software most of you winamp users know as DFX. Enhancer 017 destroys the competition and is completely FREE! I wish I would have spent that $10 on Enhancer instead because the author definitely deserves that support for this plugin.
